Welcome HIP Class of 2024!

We're excited to welcome the 2024 class of our popular Healthcare Immersion Program. The summer program offers college students a unique experience exploring possible healthcare career options by shadowing Bay Area clinician preceptors as they treat patients.

This year's program runs July 8 to August 2.

Meet our students

Here are 2024's HIP students:

• Rachel Chen, a student at University of California, Berkeley studying microbial biology
• Gabriela Hinojosa, a licensed phlebotomist who earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz
  
• Bardan Bhatta, a student at New York University studying biology
• Saahil Das, a student at University of California, San Diego studying global health
• Sheila Teker, a student at University of California, studying molecular and cell biology

Meet our 2024 coordinators

This year we are happy to announce we have two coordinators for the program: Roxie Wiblin and Sonal Mehta. Roxie is a HIP program alum, and was winner of our 2020 student video competition.

Roxie and Sonal are both students at Touro University California studying osteopathic medicine.
