Our 8th Annual Canes Gala, held on Oct. 26 2025, was a big hit! The family-friendly Halloween celebration was the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon – sharing good food, laughter, and community spirit.
Alongside the festive fun, we discovered moments of learning and inspiration as we celebrated JOF’s 27 years of empowering clinicians with essential nonsurgical skills. We heard from our amazing volunteer preceptors, and voted on student videos that bring our mission to life. As always the online silent auction was a big highlight -- and we raised more than 120 percent of our goal!
More than just a party, Canes is our most important fundraiser of the year – supporting our educational programs and helping provide scholarships for students with financial need.
Couldn't make the event? You can still support our mission by making a donation.
Canes is more than an annual event. Over the years, this special gathering has brought together clinicians, students, donors, and friends to support Jackson Orthopedic Foundation’s mission to close the musculoskeletal care gap through education. Each year, funds raised through Canes help expand access to training, support scholarships, and strengthen programs that improve patient care. Below are highlights from recent Canes events:

Why Canes matters
Across every Canes event, the impact is consistent. Funds raised support education that helps clinicians gain confidence, improve clinical decision-making, and deliver better care. Scholarships funded through Canes reduce barriers for students and providers who are committed to musculoskeletal health but need financial support to continue their training.
Together, these efforts help strengthen healthcare practices and improve outcomes for patients and communities
