Our 4th Annual Canes Film Festival & Gala is a fun-filled celebration of student films about orthopedic health. The benefit event also features updates on JOF's flagship programs, audience awards for the best short film, and the opportunity to socialize with great colleagues and friends.

The 2021 event -- our first in-person event in more than a year -- will be held on Sunday, November 7, 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Creekside Commons in Lafayette, California. We hope you can join us!

Why Canes? And why video?
Video is an amazing tool to share both critical health information and people’s stories. For the past few years, the students in our Healthcare Immersion Program (HIP) and Orthopedic Primary Care Program have created informational videos about orthopedic health as part of the programs.

Inspired by the role that canes have in orthopedic rehab and a similar-sounding and important international film festival, we are inviting individuals and organizations to join in the fun of entering the Canes Film Festival & Gala.
