Workshops are held at Creekside Commons in Lafayette, California (San Francisco Bay Area).
Orthopalooza Workshops offer a fast-paced opportunity to practice skills needed to confidently manage MSK conditions in primary care. These live courses are ideal for nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists and APRNs. Also great for physicians and other APPs.
Day 1 of Lower Extremity Orthopalooza will help you develop the skills to confidently assess and treat common disorders of the hip, knee, ankle, and foot. Relevant joint and soft tissue injections are covered on Day 2.
About our Orthopalooza Workshops
Orthopalooza two-day workshops offer a fun and fast-paced opportunity to practice skills needed for you to confidently manage muscle, bone and joint conditions in primary care. The Orthopalooza approach emphasizes active learning through the use of case studies, demonstrations, models, along with guided practice of focused physical examination and joint injection skills.
In addition to adding valuable job skills to your resume, you'll be able to help patients maximize function, manage pain, prevent re-injury, and slow disease progression -- as well as help your practice reduce unnecessary referrals.
Each quarterly Orthopalooza Workshop focuses on one aspect of Orthopedic Primary Care. Workshop content is repeated sequentially each year:
