The most comprehensive musculoskeletal education pathway offered by Jackson Orthopedic Foundation — combining deep academic study with structured, hands-on clinical skill development. Bundle enrollment offers a $250 savings over purchasing each course separately.

The Comprehensive MSK Hybrid Bundle includes all 260 hours of online coursework plus participation in our Orthopalooza one-day skills workshops, typically scheduled one per quarter.

This program is designed for clinicians who want full-spectrum MSK competence — from foundational knowledge to applied procedural confidence.

Who this bundle is for

This program is ideal for:
  • Nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, and APRNs
  • Physicians and other advanced practice providers
  • Clinicians preparing for expanded MSK responsibilities
  • Providers transitioning toward orthopedic-focused roles
  • Clinicians who want to immerse themselves in MSK knowledge while building real-world procedural skills
This bundle is particularly well-suited for clinicians who want both academic depth and hands-on reinforcement — and who are serious about long-term MSK competence and career growth.

No prior advanced MSK experience is required. The curriculum builds progressively from foundational principles to applied clinical execution.

What's included

260 Hours of Online Study
Full access to:
  • MSK Skills and Procedures (65 hours)
  • Upper Extremity & Pediatrics (65 hours)
  • Lower Extremity & Inflammatory Conditions (65 hours)
  • Spine & Metabolic Conditions (65 hours)

Together, these courses provide comprehensive training in:
  • Systematic MSK history-taking and examination
  • Differential diagnosis development
  • Imaging interpretation and selection
  • Fracture recognition
  • Red and yellow flag identification
  • Evidence-based treatment planning
  • Pain management and functional rehabilitation
  • Metabolic bone conditions
  • Referral decision-making

Orthopalooza Hands-On Saturday Workshops (24 CE Total)
Participants attend four, one-day, in-person Orthopalooza workshops, typically scheduled one Saturday per quarter.

These sessions provide structured, faculty-guided practice in:
  • Focused physical examination techniques
  • Diagnostic reasoning using case-based learning
  • Injection principles and technique
  • Casting and splinting application
  • Procedural safety and scope-appropriate decision-making
  • Applied imaging interpretation

The workshops are intentionally spaced to reinforce online learning and allow integration into clinical practice between sessions.

Participants must complete the online coursework before attending each corresponding workshop to maximize hands-on time.

What makes the hybrid bundle different

This is not simply a collection of courses. The Hybrid Bundle creates a longitudinal MSK learning pathway that:
  • Builds shared clinical language and structured reasoning
  • Reinforces knowledge through hands-on repetition
  • Strengthens procedural safety and confidence
  • Supports appropriate referral thresholds
  • Encourages real-time application in primary care settings
  • The integration of academic depth and applied skills sets this bundle apart from standalone online education.

Practical impact

Clinicians who complete the Hybrid Bundle report:
  • Sustained improvement in diagnostic clarity
  • Greater independence in managing MSK complaints
  • Stronger procedural confidence
  • Improved patient education and shared decision-making
  • Expanded professional opportunities
In today’s healthcare environment, advanced MSK competence is increasingly needed and valued. Clinicians with comprehensive MSK training are better positioned for expanded roles, orthopedic collaboration, leadership opportunities, and specialty-focused practice.

Course format and access

  • 260 hours of self-paced online learning
