Happy New Year from Jackson Orthopedic Foundation!
As you plan your 2026 continuing education, your inbox is probably full of familiar CE favorites -- telehealth, mental health, infection control, pharmacology, geriatrics, and more. Those topics matter, and you may already devote a good portion of your CE time to them. However, we hear from nurse practitioners and APPs every day who tell us they want more confidence and structured training in MSK -- especially for the shoulder, back, hip, knee, and extremity concerns that show up in their clinic so often. As 2025 draws to a close, all of us at Jackson Orthopedic Foundation want to thank you for being part of our community of learners, educators, and supporters. Together, we’ve made meaningful strides in advancing musculoskeletal (MSK) education and care, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
At JOF, our mission is simple but urgent: to close the MSK education gap so every clinician is equipped to diagnose, treat, and prevent the muscle, bone, and joint conditions that affect millions of people worldwide. By empowering healthcare professionals with better training, we’re helping patients move better, live well, and thrive. At Jackson Orthopedic Foundation, we’re always listening to our students, and what we’re hearing is clear: flexibility, relevance, and real-world application matter more than ever.
That’s why we’ve made the forward-looking decision to pause our October Orthopalooza 2-day Spine workshop. We’re redesigning the entire Orthopalooza workshop experience based on your feedback, creating the next generation of in-person training that’s even more adaptable and impactful for today’s clinicians. Our updated workshops will return in January 2026. Happy Thanksgiving!
As we gather to give thanks this holiday season, we at Jackson Orthopedic Foundation want to take a moment to express our deep gratitude for you. Whether you’re advancing the health of your community through your work as a clinician or supporting nonprofits like ours, your dedication to creating a healthier, happier world inspires us every day. Hello, healthcare champions and supporters!
As we celebrate 25 years of service at Jackson Orthopedic Foundation, we are grateful for your help in addressing one of the most significant health crises facing patients and clinicians today. Your support -- whether through a one-time or monthly gift, or by attending or sponsoring our annual Canes gala -- is more than a donation. It’s a direct investment in healthcare professionals who are tackling the growing impact of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, improving lives across the nation. Hey there, healthcare heroes!
Are you seeing a lot of patients with muscle, bone and joint conditions, but not sure about your exam skills, or what treatments you can confidently offer? Have you been referring patients to ortho specialists but have the feeling you could probably treat them in the clinic with the right skills? Not to worry, as fellow clinicians we understand and we're here to help. We've developed our nationally accredited Orthopedic Primary Care (OPC) CE curriculum specifically to help you, your patients and your practice. Hey there, healthcare heroes! 😊
Are you feeling the weight of managing musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions in your primary care practice — especially common complaints involving the shoulder, elbow, wrist or hand? Do you sometimes feel like you're behind the curve on the latest non-surgical treatment techniques? We hear you, and we're here to help! 👍 Join us Friday and Saturday, July 26-27 for our two-day Orthopalooza: Upper Extremity workshop.
With summer around the corner we're excited to share several learning opportunities with you for this season and beyond.
Our catalogue of in-person, online and blended learning options is designed to help you conveniently and affordably acquire new skills and confidence treating common bone, muscle and joint conditions. Each summer we also help students explore future careers in healthcare. Our inaugural Orthopalooza MSK skills weekend was a hit. Usually part of our blended learning Orthopedic Primary Care Courses, we broke out the weekend workshop as a standalone two-day workshop event April 8 & 9.
Held at Creekside Commons in Lafayette, California, the workshop, valued at 15 contact hours, quickly sold out and we're already planning our next Orthopalooza event for September 9-10.
We’re excited to announce the latest addition to our line-up of Orthopedic Primary Care (OPC) continuing education courses for clinicians: Online Mini Courses.
We know that budgets and schedules are tight these days, so we created these four, 10-hour online modules – priced at just $65 each – to make it easier than ever to improve your skills and confidence diagnosing and treating common musculoskeletal conditions. |
